Born and raised in Topeka, Kansas, Jackie has always had a passion for acting and the arts. She attended Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, Richard Daley Junior College in Chicago and Columbia College in Chicago.

She studied fashion design and fashion show production. Jackie started her own label under the name Jackie Oooo in 2003. Still yearning to act, she sent head shots and bio to several casting companies. In 2008 landed a part in an episode of “the Beast” as a featured extra playing a waitress. She was also an extra in the final episode of “ER”. In 2009 she did 5 short films and also did some runway modeling for fashion shows. Since 2010 Jackie has done 13 plays as Costume Designer and/or actress such as “M*A*S*H”, “Music Man”, “Second Oldest Profession”, “Sharks On Wheels”, “Alas Alas Zorro is Back”, “The Producers”, “Skin Of Our Teeth”, “It’s A Wonderful Life, The Radio Show”, “Noises Off” and “The Woman In Black“ and currently “Bye, Bye Birdie“.

Jackie is quoted as saying “these last 2 years have been a fantastic and exciting experience, especially working with Madeline Franklin, Jeff Small, Linda Collins and Ed Duncan and The Elgin Theatre Company, as well as Ball Family Productions, Chris Welsh, Sheri and Tesseract, Sandy Sandquist And Richard Grieger and Director Tony Aiello, as well as all the wonderful actors and crew members that she has had the privilege to work with“.

Recently completed two short films, “Family” and “Only Thunder” one as costume and set designer/decorator, production assistant, props and location manager and craft services. The second as costumes, set, props and unit production manager. Currently, costume designer and military advisor for “Leaving Iowa”.
