I'm thrilled to be able to combine my love of good literature and my natural inclination to “perform” with my public relations skills to help authors bring their great books to a wider audience!

For 25 years, I earned awards and recognition for my public relations skills on behalf of local, national, regional and international organizations. As an Accredited Business Communicator, I scored media coverage with major print and broadcast media. After taking a break to start a family, I used my public relations and business experience to aid the cause of children and families through pro bono work with national not-for-profit organizations. One of my proudest achievements was playing an instrumental role in changing Illinois law to make birth records accessible to adoptees.

As an avid reader, I began to pursue my interest in creative writing in 2006. Moving in writing circles, I became aware of the highly competitive and evolving nature of the publishing industry. I came to see that getting a book published was not the same as getting a book sold and read. Publishing was hard but selling was much, much harder.
